A world in which BAME Communities including Older People and Disabled are supported to overcome social exclusion, poverty and deprivation.
To support and empower BAME community including vulnerable elders, disabled and their Carers to have access to services, educational and socially inclusive opportunities to reduce isolation, poverty and poor quality of life.
EKOTA Care Trust’s main goal is to improve the Health, well-being and standard of living of members of the BAME community including vulnerable people and people with disabilities and their carers through the provision of carefully selected economic, social and health care support services including advice and information.
The registered charitable goals are:
1. To advance education;
2. To relieve financial hardship;
3. To relieve unemployment;
4. To preserve and protect good health; and
5. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
For the purpose of this clause “socially excluded” means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one of more of the following factors: level of education and skills, financial hardship, unemployment, ill health and social background.
